It’s hay-baling season!
I love this time of year! It is amazing how the light changes and how dark it gets so early on in the day.
Happily we have already received some really nice rains. We are hoping for a very green and wet winter season, which makes all ranchers and cows happy! It is a great time of year around here. Calves are being born, grass is growing, cattle are eating all the fresh grass and hanging out in the sun. Could not be better.
Rancho San Julian Beef was recently on the cover of Edible Santa Barbara. A huge honor and Nancy Oster wrote a beautiful article about beef in this area. It was very interesting and great to have an outside perspective.
Next few months we are going to be getting ready for the holidays! I see a lot of delicious Rib Roasts and tender Tenderloins in the future! Also we have some great new shirts that you can now buy here online and we will get them sent to you right away.
